Eclectic acoustic music brushed with hues from Mediterranean folk | Where north, south, east, west, and humanity collide
Villa Palagonia makes eclectic acoustic music brushed with hues from Mediterranean folk. Our performance contains original songs infused with American jazz and folk, Flamenco-style virtuosic guitar playing, southern Italian drum rhythms, and singable melodies set alongside traditional Sicilian folk songs that have been tested by time. We weave stories and translations of the songs throughout our concerts as well as engage our audiences–inviting them to sing along, ask questions, and even dance the tarantella, southern Italy’s folk dance. Songs are presented in English, Italian, and Sicilian.
We aim to bring a party to your venue, making it an event that people will want to tell friends about for years to come.
